Shakira, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan and Foo Fighters are the first artists confirmed to perform at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards Latin America. The fourth VMALAs will be held Oct. 20 in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, marking the event's first venture outside of Miami.
