Shakira is smart and talented and beautiful. She doesn't get much media attention because she doesn't do desperate or stupid things in a transparent attempt to get attention.
She heads a charitable foundation that is helping thousands of children whose families have been displaced by internal conflicts. She hasn't adopted any of them.
