Sun, rain, saltwater spray, it all takes a toll on your cherished vessel. A boat cover can minimize the effect that the elements have on your boat. I have lived in two coastal areas that had very different climates. In one place covers were used to keep out the rain and snow and in the other, much nicer place, the sun is the main enemy.
