I am not that good at geography, but I think Colombia and Asia are on the opposite sides of the Earth. Wow, I am not actually bad at geography. I found this cool page that lets you immediately find out what is exactly opposite of any point on the globe. Colombia is exactly opposite Indonesia. That is so cool. I used to roast fair trade coffee for a living and one of our most popular blends was made from Colombian and Indonesian coffee beans.
But I am talking about a site that is concerned withAsia entertainment news in this post. In much the same way that Shakira set up a foundation to help with problems in her native country, action movie superstar Jet Li has also started a foundation. It is called One Foundation. It is a charity project that collects funds to help the victims of natural disasters.
The idea of the foundation is for every person in China to donate RMB1 (or more) to the charity. With over 1 billion of population in China, the amount will be huge.
