I am not a big fan of botox injections, I mean they are a toxin. Why put a toxin into your body for the sake of vanity? I mean, maybe if you wanted to look a bit more virile because you thought that it might help you put George W. Bush out of office, that's not vanity, it's sanity. I have a debate about whether laugh lines are good or bad with the woman I love. I like to make her laugh, there's going to be lines.

Actors and singers using botox? I guess in a sense that is a business decision as well. But is it a smart one? I think actors like Rob Lowe look creepy when they try and avoid looking old. I think I preferred the golden age of film where they just kept adding more lense filters as an actress got older.

Shakira is probably never going to use botox. I don't know what she is going to do about her belly if she has kids before her belly dancing gigs are finished. Nelly Furtado sparked a bit of controversy when people found out that CGI effects were used on her post-partum belly for the Like a Bird video. Maybe Shakira can just do that too.
