Women...football...women...football...Women football. This is a hard decision for a lot of men in the UK. I think I have a solution, why not become a fan of women's football?
I played football in college (we had to call it soccer because we were in Canada). I went to several of the women's matches, to repay the show of support they often offered us at our matches. I think that in terms of pace and skills, they were on a par with us. And they yelled much louder. Looking at the gallery on the teams website, they look like a fun bunch of people. Reading the story of how the team got started I know that they don't take themselves too seriously. Maybe just seriously enough.
