A Review of a Photography Blog

This is a sponsored post.

I looked at the photography site that a friend of mine has just yesterday and I totally lost track of time. I love looking at pictures. The photo blog that I am reviewing in this post isn't the one my friend has. He is like a magician in that he doesn't give away any of the secrets of how he takes such great pictures. The blog called PhotoCritic.org is a very educational site. Just skimming it, I saw a tip about turning your digital camera upside down to avoid the crappy shadowing effect that results from the way the flash is placed on compact cameras. I am going to try that...as soon as I figure out how to remove the date stamp.

Here's something interesting, examples of square portrait photos. I know I upload square photos quite often and they are always just a thoughtless quick cropping of the standard dimension, 4x5 or whatever it is.

This article about paper negatives is cool. I like the comment about characteristic limitations that can be used for artistic effect. That's how I feel about MS paint.
